Comments: Hi, I will really enjoy using the information I found here. Why are you interested in this topic?
Comments: I am hoping some of the readers out there can help. I am trying to preserve the history and memories of the combat veterans of WWII. I have a few questions I ask veterans. All deal with their personal memories and times during the service-NOTHING POLIT CAL. I invite all who are veterans or know of any veterans, especially German veterans, to contact me and find out what I am doing and perhaps add to my projects. Thank you. William

Comments: Dear Panzergrenadier Friend! Thank you very much for your answer about the PzG divisions. I really am very interested in this topic. I have orders of battle for all German Panzer divisions and I would really like to have these data also for Panzergrenadier divisions. May I dare to ask you where to find those information if it isn't too much trouble for you. I thank you in advance. Best wishes, Andrej Rojnik
Comments: I must admit that this is one of my favourite sites on the web. I know it is difficoult to continue your work but it is to damn good to stop. I mean I'm really interested in some of yours "under construction" titles. For instance I would like to know the eneral composition of PANZERGRENADIER division (did all PzG divisions had Panzer battalion or even Panzer regiment in their regular composition???). I would really apprechiate if you could send me some info. Thanks in advance. A.

Comments: My grandfather who passed away last year at the age of 95 years was a front cook from 1941-45 and was interned in Auschwitz as a POW following. His outfit was the 10th Panzer-Grenadier Division and he was captured in Bohemia following the abandonment of he Division at Olomutz (Czech) by "Field Marshall" Shoener via private plane to surrender to the Americans. My grandfather was a passifist and member of the SPD who was given the choice of Dachau or the Eastern Front. He survived the Russian Front and A schwitz as an unarmed soldier. He was 34 years old in 1941 verses the average age of 19 years for a frontsoldier and he lost everything to the NAZIs while on the front. I would be very interested in knowing more about his division, specifically: 1. Evidence of his involvement in the 10th Panzer-Grenadiers through this period. 2. The location to location movement of the 10th (Regensburg) Divisions from 1941 to capture 1945. 3. Graphic Detail of their setbacks and suffering during Operation Typhoon, Operation Citadel, the South Central retreat (were they in the Russion pocket/cauldron near Kanev/Cherkassy?), Hussi in Romania, Radom in Poland and finally Olomitz/Olomouc in Cz choslovakia -- somehow my grandfather survived all of these disasters! Any attachments, references, specific websites, or addresses for information beyond what you could provide would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any information, and thank you for investing some of your time to provide information on Panzier-gre adiers of the German Army.
Comments: Hi, The site seems to be alittle slow due to large image, but information are adequate. keep it up ! friend. V.S.
Comments: Your site tells me details on the Panzer Grenadier. However, in the page of Basic Organization of Infanterien Division, you are using the "flags" or "ensign" to represents the formation of a division. May I ask where I can get the meaning of the those "fl gs" or "ensign"? Thanks a lot.
Comments: Emergency statement! Currently I am upgrading my PC, but unfortunately all of my data (including e-mails from all you guests) in my old hard disk are deleted during installing a second hard disk. The last e-mail I received from guests mentioned about the detail organization i the company level of German Panzer-Brigade during 1944. I will reply to you as soon as possible if you had seen this message and sent the e-mail to me. Sorry about the mass!

Comments: Among other things I have put together an 1/87 (HO) model of a 1944 compliant Panzer Division. I have modelled PDGD AFTER the battle of Kursk and up to March 1945. I also have used the correct (German numbers) camo colors. In addition I have Heavy Tank ba talions, Assault Gun Battalions, Artillery, etc. There is also an US CCB and US a Tank destroyer Battalion (M10's). The list can go on. I have no plans for these units. I.e., I could ship it off to a Military Museum or a Military School? I would like to l arn more about what you guys do?
Comments: Very good overview of the Panzergrenadier! I'm looking forward to future updates on this site.

Comments: An interesting site your Panzergrenadier! Perhaps you know that in the new german army, the "Bundeswehr" all armored infantry-units are also called Panzergrenadier. I did my duty in 1990 in the 10th Panzerdivision, 28th Panzerbrigade and was a Panzergrenadier. Today - certainly - we are equipped with AFV "Marder" and a great range of armament with a lot of firepower. But there are a lot of traditions that are still l ft from the old Panzergrenadier-myth and the Wehrmacht-Organization. For example: The german troops have Berets. Every unit as an other color - the supply-units have red berets, the Panzerunits have black berets and we - the Panzergrenadiers have green be ets. In german army everyone knows that the Panzergrenadiers have the hardest job in the whole army (just like the ariborne troops), and for this there is also today still a "elite-feeling" with the panzergrenadiers.
Comments: I liked your site, lot of work done on it. I play miniatures, specifically WWII AfrikaKorps, continually looking for accurate TO&E's of PzDiv to base on 1:1 scale. I use GHQ's micro armor for vehicles/AFV's and RossHeroics for personnel. Good luck on y ur site, I'll be back to see how its coming along.
Comments: I am looking for info on Jaeger Divisions, specifically the 118th and also for info on the 79th Infanterie Division....Do you know where I could search?
Comments: Your site is pretty interesting and informative. Will come here often.. keep it up man !
Comments: I really like your site!! Please work fast :) Why can't anyone do a german artillery site Anders
Comments: I am looking for any information on the 106th Panzer Brigade, which was engaged in a battle with the 90th Infantry Division in the early morning hours of Sept. 8, 1944 near Mairy, France. I am especially interested in locating veterans of this unit, as I ave obtained many accounts of this battle from the American side.
